Limerick sits on the motorway network, which makes next-day delivery from anywhere in the country dependable. Same day is a narrower list: two services, both of them relay networks with a florist in the city.

Reaches a Limerick address today
Both are relay networks: the order goes to a florist already in Limerick, who makes it up and delivers it. That is the only mechanism that moves flowers across the city within an afternoon.

Reaches Limerick tomorrow
Limerick is one of the easier addresses in the country for a next-day courier, so this list is more reliable here than the same-day one. The cutoff is what separates them.

Why Limerick is easier than the map suggests
Limerick is a junction. The motorway runs to Dublin, the road network fans out to Cork, Galway and Kerry, and every national courier already passes through. So the next-day promise from the flat-fee services holds here more reliably than it does in west Galway or west Cork, and there is less reason to pay for an express upgrade.
Same day is the part that has not changed. It still means a florist near the door, which means a relay network, which means the flowers are that florist's version of the photograph rather than a copy of it. City suburbs are straightforward: Dooradoyle, Raheen, Castletroy, Corbally and Caherdavin are routine ground for local shops. Further out into west Limerick, Newcastle West and Abbeyfeale, the same-day answer depends entirely on whether a member florist is nearby.
If the flowers are for a hospital, sort the ward question before the delivery question. Restrictions vary by ward and by week, and an arrangement that cannot be handed over gets taken away again. A florist in the city is far more likely to know the current position than any national order form.
Limerick florists worth ringing directly
These are not in any comparison on this site and we take nothing from them. They are Limerick shops with their own websites and their own phone numbers, listed because a phone call to one of them will answer a same-day question faster than any checkout.
Lawless Flowers, a family-run shop on Roches Street in the city. Their site offers same-day delivery and in-store collection on orders placed by 3pm, along with wedding and sympathy work.
About Flowers, on St Nessan's Road in Dooradoyle. Their site advertises same-day delivery on orders placed before 1pm across Limerick, Tipperary and Clare, with separate wedding and funeral ranges.
The cross-county reach in that second entry is the point. National services think in postcodes and county fields; a Limerick shop thinks in driving time, which is why an address near Shannon or Nenagh is often easier for them than for a courier network. For sympathy orders especially, ring.
Sending somewhere else in Ireland
Cork has the deepest florist trade outside Dublin. Galway is where same-day cover starts to break down west of the city.Dublin is the one place where nearly every service on the list can reach a door within the afternoon.
Questions people ask
Can I get flowers delivered in Limerick the same day?
In the city and the main suburbs, yes, through a relay network that passes the order to a Limerick florist. Two of the eight services compared here can do it. The flat-fee online florists deliver to Limerick perfectly well, but their same-day rounds are driven out of Dublin, so a Limerick order arrives the next working day.
Can flowers be delivered to University Hospital Limerick?
Check the ward before you order. Irish hospitals restrict flowers on some wards, intensive care and oncology in particular, and a delivery that cannot be handed over is a delivery that goes back in the van. A florist in the city will usually know the current position; a national checkout will not ask. Sending to the family home instead is often the better call.
How much is flower delivery to Limerick?
The services that publish a flat charge apply the same figure to Limerick as to Dublin, since it travels by courier either way. A relay order is priced by the Limerick florist who fills it and shown once the address goes in. Both sit in the tables above with the date each figure was read.
Can a Limerick florist deliver into Clare or Tipperary?
Frequently yes, and it is one of the useful things about ordering locally in the mid-west. City shops routinely run out towards Shannon, Sixmilebridge, Newport and Nenagh, which no national service treats as a single delivery area. If the address straddles a county line, ring a Limerick shop and ask rather than working from a postcode field.
